Pervasive: Use the Pervasive Rebuild

Follow these steps to rebuild a data file:

Important
Ensure that you have a backup before attempting to rebuild a data file.

Click Start, All Programs, Pervasive, PSQL10, Utilities, Rebuild. Click Next.
Click Add.
On the Open window, select the file (multiple files can be selected by pressing the Ctrl button and clicking the file names) to be rebuilt and then click Open.

Pervasive: Use the Pervasive File Repair and Maintenance

Follow these four steps to rebuild a data file:

1. Retrieve File Records to Sequential File

Click Start, All Programs, Pervasive, Pervasive.SQL, Other Utilities, Maintenance.
Click Data, Save.
In the From MicroKernel File box, select damaged file (for example C:BusinessVisionDataGl.btr).
In the To Sequential File box, specify a filename for the sequence file that will be created.(for example C:BusinessVisionDataGl.seq).
Click Execute.
Click Close.

2. Create Blank Data File

Click Options, Show Information […]
